Only the mode, coupled container mode/arguments and bundle identity change; the DaemonSet remains OnDelete. Apply through the normal release, then re-enroll helper Pods serially with fresh drain and identity checks. No cloud worker replacement, reboot or host maintenance operation is part of this change.

Validation: canonical package generation and complete permitted-field comparison; the updated mode guard rejects the previous observation manifest and accepts this package; full repository guards.

Restore maintenance mode after all six current nodes passed the v639 native runtime rollout, fresh inventory, retained journal and log checks, enrollment, and Python absence checks.
