Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
rpg-demo is now the source-recovery project. Replace its parts-application IBM i pipeline with offline Python checks and Git revision releases. Remove its deployment targets and old parts recipe. Historical build and media evidence stays available.
The plan-owned runner fails when tests are missing, empty, or unsuccessful. The container test step has no network and needs no IBM i credentials.
Validation: make check passes, including negative controls for empty and failing test suites. The new runner also passes all 15 tests in the prepared rpg-demo cleanup.
Dependency: release only after Binjovi PR 1340 is deployed. The rpg-demo cleanup can then be pushed and released.
