The first v2 cleanup Jobs safely timed out because their Deployment checks required compact JSON. Kubernetes API responses contain whitespace.

Remove both failed v1 Roles' authority. Start corrected v2 Jobs under new immutable Job names, and accept optional JSON whitespace. The corrected condition was proven against the live API from both failed Job pods. Both canonical workers are already ready, and both v2 claims remain intact.

focused v2 retirement contract
Kustomize render
Kubernetes server-side dry run
embedded scripts parse under sh
