Replace Python in six manifest guards with jq and small shell checks. Preserve Linux boot/registry restrictions, private Hermes secret and backup checks, portal redirect handling, and archived-pipeline extraction. Use a private temporary file for the extracted script.

Validation: all six targeted guards pass with Python blocked. Existing backup failure scenarios remain tested. ShellCheck, shell syntax and diff checks pass. Other Python guards are migrated in separate changes.
