The kernel supply-chain tools (crane retags the OCI, cosign verifies the kernel
signature on every roll) now fetch via ${PKG_CACHE}/github when PKG_CACHE is set
(CI), with a direct-github fallback + the existing sha256 verify -> safe if the
cache misses or returns wrong bytes. Proves the pkg-cache github pull-through
(seanfarm f043539b) end-to-end on a real build. Remaining github fetches
(kernel-builder sccache/nfpm, cast-render agg, hetzner hcloud, zig/zdns nfpm,
pipelines-ci tla2tools) follow the same one-line pattern. VERSION 4->5.
